The doctor told you that you have high cholesterol and told you that you need to make some lifestyle changes or else the next step is medication.


What does that mean? What is a lifestyle change?


A lifestyle change means that you, the patient, are going to have to alter some factors in your life in order to better care for your health.


Why do we care about high cholesterol? It puts you at high risk of having a cardiovascular episode.
